We apply the ESG principle inthe area of sustainability. In the area of environment, we provide insights into the environmental aspects of the sustainability strategy with regard to energy efficiency, environmental and climate protection.We summarise the social aspects under social responsibility ,which includes occupational safety, training and continuing education, diversion and social commitment. You will find sustainable corporate governance with regard to transparent control and monitoring processes under governance.

Plastic-free packaging

The switch to plastic-free packaging for our products is in full swing. We are already saving more than 2 million plastic bags for accessories every year and replacing polystyrene and foam padding with sustainable solutions.

Our commitment

In addition to the legal requirements, STEINEL has created its own code of conduct and a mission statement for all employees. Steinel GmbH also supports the Code of Conduct of the Amfori Business Social Compliance Initiative BSCI, a European business initiative for the improvement of working conditions in the global supply chain.
The new requirements with regard to social and ethical responsibility in the supply chain, which arise from the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act, are implemented via AI-based risk assessment of suppliers.

Münster Boxing Centre

Everyone deserves a chance. That is why we support the social project Farid's QualiFighting of the Boxzentrum Münster. As part of a care concept for children and young people, academic and sporting achievements are closely linked, and at the same time, values and respect are taught. We offer participants in this programme the opportunity of an apprenticeship. In 2021, we were able to recruit two new apprentices for our company.
